Cops seize shabu worth P489,000, gun in Rizal, Quezon busts
LUCENA CITY — Policemen in Rizal and Quezon provinces busted on Monday and Tuesday three drug pushers and seized more than P489,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) and an illegal firearm.
The Police Regional Office 4A reported that anti-narcotics operatives in Antipolo City, Rizal arrested at 5:54 p.m. on Monday alias “Leon” after he sold P1,000 worth of meth to a poseur buyer in Barangay San Jose.
Seized from the suspect were shabu weighing 53 grams worth P365,700 as per valuation of the Dangerous Drugs Board.
The high-value suspect was also found carrying an undocumented .38 revolver loaded with six bullets.
In Quezon province, Sariaya town police nabbed two alleged shabu peddlers, “Rolly” and “Ol” in a sting operation at about 1 a.m. Tuesday in Barangay Lutucan Malabag. The suspects yielded 17.91 grams of shabu worth P123,579.

Leon will be slapped with another case of illegal possession of a firearm and violation of the Omnibus Election Code.
