LUCENA CITY — Law enforcers arrested three suspected drug traffickers on Wednesday and seized more than P1.2 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) in separate operations in Cavite and Rizal provinces.
The Police Regional Office 4A (PRO-4A) said in a report Thursday, Nov. 9, that members of the PRO-4A anti-narcotics units from Dasmariñas City, Cavite, nabbed at 8:25 p.m. a big-time pusher identified as “Jane” after she sold P100,000 worth of shabu to a police agent in Barangay Zone 4.
The suspect was found in possession of one knot-tied plastic sachet and another sachet containing suspected shabu weighing 150 grams worth about P1,035,000.
Authorities also seized a mobile phone for examination of records of drug transactions.
The police are conducting further investigation to determine the source of the illegal drugs.
The police tagged the suspect as a “high-value individual” in the local drug trade.
In Binangonan, Rizal, police nabbed at 9:15 p.m. two suspected drug pushers, “Ronel” and “Rajiv” in Barangay Darangan.
The suspects were caught with nine sachets of meth worth P215,694. The police also seized a mobile phone from the duo.
The police also confiscated a motorcycle believed to have been used by the suspects in their illegal drug trade.
The three suspects were detained and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
