Drug den operator, 3 others nabbed in Pampanga

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 3 (PDEA-3) arrested a suspected drug den operator and three other people during an anti-narcotics operation in Dau village here late Thursday, Oct. 26.

In a statement, PDEA-3 identified the alleged drug den operator as Fernan Guevarra, 28.

The other three people found inside the suspected drug den were identified as Necelyn Nunez, 40; Joel Manansala, 34; and Ariel Clinton, 28, all residents of this city.

The PDEA-3 operating team was conducting a buy-bust operation against Guevarra when the three other individuals were found inside the target place.

Operatives allegedly confiscated four pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing some 15 grams of “shabu ” (crystal meth) with an estimated street value of P103, 500 and assorted drug paraphernalia. The marked peso bills used in the sting operation were also recovered.

The suspects will be facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
