Over P100,000 worth of ‘shabu’ seized in Subic drug den

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – Some P103,500 worth of ‘shabu’ was confiscated early Friday, April 21, during an anti-illegal drugs operation in Subic town in this province.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said it dismantled around 1 a.m. a makeshift drug den in Barangay Calapacuan, which led to the arrest of five drug suspects.

The PDEA identified the suspects as Leonardo Baleros, 42; Tiburcio Sujabo, 41; Alma Herrera, 48; Marvin De Guzman, 21; and Jeffrey Apolinar, 41.

Confiscated from them were at least nine sachets of suspected shabu weighing 15 grams and assorted drug paraphernalia.

The suspects were detained and will face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
