Drug den dismantled, 4 nabbed in Subic bust
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — A makeshift drug den in Subic town in Zambales province was dismantled and four drug suspects were arrested during a buy-bust operation Saturday night (August 12), police said on Sunday.
Based on a report from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), the operation in the drug den, located in Barangay (village) Matain, that was allegedly operated by Isnura Naldi, 41, emanated from a tip from a concerned citizen in the area. The time of the operation was not stated in the report.
Naldi was arrested together with three other drug suspects identified as Fatma Tanih, 42; Kristian Ray Montallana, 22; and Fitz Clarence Untalan.
Recovered from the operation were four pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 17 grams of suspected shabu (crystal meth) with an estimated street value of P117,300, assorted paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
The suspects are now detained and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
