Manila Water clients to experience water interruption from Oct 24 to 26

MANILA, Philippines — Parts of Quezon City and Antipolo, Rizal will experience water supply interruptions due to line maintenance activities and a leak repair from October 24 to 26, Manila Water Company Incorporated said.

The three-day water shortage begins on Tuesday and continues until Thursday.

Due to a line maintenance activity in Quezon City, the water concessionaire advises its customers that parts of Barangay Tandang Sora will experience water supply interruption from 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday to 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

Parts of Antipolo, Rizal will also have water supply interruption from 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday to 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

This situation is due to a repair of a leak in Langhaya along Marcos Highway.

According to Manila Water, the following areas will be affected by the repair:

Parts of Barangay Dela Paz (Langhaya Relocation Site, CHED Langhaya, Purok Cepina, Purok Imelda, Purok Maunlad, Purok Silangan, Techno Road, Purok Sumulong)

Parts of Barangay Nayon (Purok Tagumpay, Sun Valley Subdivision, Sitio Kamias, Sitio Kasapi)

Parts of Barangay Inarawan (AZHAI, DAZMA, St. Anthony, Town and Country Hills, Maagay 1, 2, and 3, Park Hills, Sitio Pandayan, St. Francis Subdivision, Inarawan Public Faucets 1-7)

Parts of Barangay San Luis (Sitio Kaybagsik, Sambaville, Peace Village 1, 2, and 3, Cherry Hills Subdivision, Sitio Patnubay, Ph2B1 and 2, Steel Homes, Piedra Blanca, Puting Bato)

Parts of Barangay San Isidro (Sitio Maligaya, Sitio Epheta and Tanglaw, Ph2A Bagong Nayon, Ph1 and Ph2)

Sitio Inaisan in Barangay San Juan

Meanwhile, Manila Water said line maintenance activities from 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday to 4:00 a.m. on Thursday will likewise affect the following areas in Quezon City:

Parts of Barangay Matandang Balara

Parts of Barangay Pinagkaisahan

Parts of Barangay Immaculate Concepcion

Manila Water is asking affected residents to store enough water for their needs during the service disruptions.
