This also comes with the responsibility of working harder and striving to further improve our services and ensure consistent 24/7 services, which is what we are committed to do since the establishment of Manila Water 25 years ago,” said Jeric Sevilla, Manila Water Corporate Communication Affairs Group Director.
Service accessibility and continuity projects under the 2023-2027 East Zone Service Improvement Plan are underway, enabling Manila Water to reach more unserved and underserved communities and ensure uninterrupted water supply even during calamities and emergencies.
Among the projects and programs to be undertaken from 2023 to 2027 are the rehabilitation and implementation of existing water, sewer and septage treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations and reservoirs, improving network reliability through pipelaying of reliability lines and rehabilitation of matured primary lines, automation of network distribution facilities and implementation of supply and customer meter, meter manifold and service pipe replacement program, and natural calamity risk mitigation projects.
Network expansion remains focused on Rizal to cover all towns and barangays in the province through the implementation of mainline extension and individualization projects.
