Villarico tows CQCU to victory

FORMER Abellana National School standout Dan Marnel Villarico exploded with four goals and helped the Cebu Queen City United Football Club (CQCU FC) barge back into the winning column with a 7-0 routing of the Lions Meltique Beef FC in yesterday’s second round of the United Football League Second Division Tournament at the football field of the Alabang Country Club.

The win allowed CQCU FC to hang on at the third place with 29 points and a record of 9-2-3 (win-loss-draw).

Benedict Luis Arriola, Ariel Cahilig and  Rene Menchavez were the other scorers for the Cebuano team.

Next game for CQCU will be against Team Socceroo FC on May 5./CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
