“I trust that you will fully support General Morales, just as you did General Zagala, with your hallmark integrity, excellence, and service,” Marcos said in his speech to PSG troops.

“Together, let us continue to perform our duties to the best of our ability,” he remarked.

“Let us remain steadfast in safeguarding our country so that we can fulfill our sworn duty of provisioning a peaceful and secure life for every Filipino,” he said.

Marcos thanked Zagala for his service, saying that he had successfully ensured the safety of the President and the First Family.

“You have also maintained and guarded the PCG’s distinction as one of the best protectors of the land, worthy to protect and preserve the presidency as a stern and reliable institution,” the Commander in Chief told Zagala.
