Ex-president Duterte mourns death of sister Jocelyn
MANILA, Philippines — Former President Rodrigo Duterte III’s sister has died, Senator Bong Go shared on his social media on Friday.
According to Go, Duterte’s sister Jocelyn Duterte-Villarica died on Friday, September 29.
Go accompanied Duterte to visit Jocelyn’s house on the same day.
“Personal na nagtungo si Senator Bong Go kasama si Tatay Digong sa bahay ng kanyang yumaong kapatid sa Cavite,” a caption reads on the senator’s official page.
(Senator Bong Go and Duterte personally went to the house of the former president’s sister in Cavite.)
“Nakasama ni Ma’am Jocelyn ang kanyang anak na si Bambino, si Vince, nurse at iba pang mga kasama nila sa bahay sa mga huling sandali nito,” the caption added.
(Ma’am Jocelyn was with her child Bambino, Vince, nurse, and other companions in her home during her final moments.)
According to a previous INQUIRER.net report, Jocelyn is the former president’s youngest sibling.
