P346,000 worth of shabu seized in Rizal, Cavite
LUCENA CITY – Law enforcers seized more than P346,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) from drug suspects on Friday (September 29) in separate operations in Rizal and Cavite provinces.
The Police Region 4A reported that policemen in Taytay, Rizal conducted an anti-illegal gambling operation around 6:40 p.m. in Barangay (village) Sta. Ana and arrested Merilyn Datalio and Victor Cruz while engaged in cara y cruz (coin toss). The other gamblers were able to escape.
During the routine frisking, Datalio was found in possession of three plastic sachets of shabu weighing a total of 35 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P238,000.
The police also found out that Datalio is included on their watch list as an identified drug pusher.
Cruz had no shabu in his possession, but authorities recovered from him P300 bet money and the coins used in the illegal gambling.
Article continues after this advertisementMeanwhile, in Cavite, anti-narcotics operatives in Dasmariñas City arrested Lirby Sese, Samer Mocaibat, and Gregorio dela Cruz in a drug bust operation in Barangay San Manuel 2 at 7:30 p.m.

Authorities in Rizal and Cavite were tracking the source of the illegal drugs.
All arrested suspects were detained and are facing criminal charges.
