Navotas City reopens art scholarship applications

MANILA, Philippines — Navotas City has reopened applications for its “NavotaAs Art Scholarship” program.

The local government unit of Navotas has reopened applications for its "NavotaAs art scholarship" program.

Applicants must have the following qualifications to be eligible for the scholarship:

  • Must be a resident of Navotas City, or parent/legal guardian must be a registered voter in Navotas City
  • Must be 13-21 years old on the day of application
  • Must be enrolled in a high school in Navotas City or a college/university in Metro Manila for the academic year 2023-2024
  • Must have passing grades in all subjects in the final grading period of the academic year 2022-2023

Five art categories are available which applicants may identify themselves when applying: visual arts, music, dance, theater arts, and creative writing or journalism.

Interested applicants may submit their required documents, which can be found on the city’s official social media pages, at the Navotas City Hall until September 15.

Applicants will also undergo an orientation on September 18 and a live audition and interview on September 23.
