MANILA, Philippines – A man with Chinese features plunged to his death from the fourth floor of the Robinsons Galleria mall in Ortigas but police could not say immediately if it was a suicide or if foul play was involved.
Police initially identified the man as Willy Lo, 52, reportedly the owner of the AWD computer shop located at the mall’s ground floor.
A field report to the tactical operation center of the Quezon City Police District said the man landed on the second floor of the mall and died instantly.
The incident happened at around 11:45 a.m. after Lo ate lunch at a branch of a fast food chain on the fourth floor, police said.
Homicide investigators are digging deeper into the case.
