At the age of 15, Diego Terence de la Cruz is already managing his own coffee shop in Naga City.
The grade 10 student is juggling studies and business to help his mother who was diagnosed with colon cancer.
“Nag-start ‘yung business for my mother, for her medication, extra pay. And for her chemo, kaya nagtayo ako ng business ko na ‘yun. And siyempre, para hindi naman pabigat, para may mabigay din for her medication,” Diego said.
