MMDA: 10 road segments to undergo weekend repair, reblocking

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to conduct road reblocking and repairs in 10 Metro Manila roads from Friday night, July 21 to early Monday morning, 24.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), in an advisory, said the roadworks will begin at 11:00 p.m. Friday, July 21, and will last until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, July 24.

The MMDA advised motorists to take alternative routes to avoid heavy traffic and inconvenience.

DPWH will conduct repairs and road reblocking in the following roads:

  1. C-5 Road northbound (NB), P. Antonio to fronting Subaru (Lane 4), Pasig City
  2. C-5 Road southbound (SB), to Korean Embassy, Makati City
  3. C-3 Road eastbound, between J. Teodoro to Rizal Avenue (4th Lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
  4. C-3 Road eastbound, between Rizal Avenue and Maria Clara St. (2nd Lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
  5. EDSA (NB), between Gen. Mascardo to Tandang Sora, Caloocan City
  6. Rizal Ave. Exit (NB), between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue (3rd Lane), Caloocan City 
  7. Roxas Boulevard EDSA Flyover (SB) Bridge Deck, Pasay City
  8. EDSA (NB), Taft Avenue – MRT Station (Outer Lane), Pasay City
  9. EDSA (SB), after Malibay Bridge (Inner Lane), Pasay City
  10. Mc Arthur Highway Southbound, Malabon City
