Taguig City donates P90-M vehicles, equipment to local police, firemen
MANILA, Philippines — Taguig City donated some P90 million worth of vehicles to the Philippine National Police and the Bureau and Fire Protection units in the city.
A total of 70 mobile patrol vehicles, multi-purpose vehicles, motorcycles, custodial van, fire trucks, ambulances, and firefighting tricycles along with equipment consisting of firearms, body cameras, and recording devices were turned over in a ceremony at TLC Park in Barangay Lower Bicutan on Wednesday.
The local government said the donated vehicles and equipment will help ensure effective patrols and protection and prompt emergency and disaster responses, further strengthening the day-to-day operations of the PNP and BFP.

Likewise present in the turnover ceremony were Southern Police District Director Col. Kirby John Brion Kraft, Taguig City police chief Col. Robert Baesa, BFP-Taguig head Supt. Eddie W. Tanawan and other local officials. (with Bea Alicia Delariarte, INQUIRER.net trainee)
