Mikey Arroyo, wife arraigned on tax evasion charges at QC court
MANILA, Philippines — A Quezon City judge entered “not guilty” pleas for Ang Galing partylist Rep. Mikey Arroyo and his wife Angela to tax evasion charges on Thursday morning.
This was after husband and wife did not enter any plea to the charges against them.
Judge Marie Christine Jacob of Regional Trial Court Branch 100 set a preliminary conference on May 21 and the pre-trial conference on June 7.
The three counts of tax evasion against Arroyo were exactly the same ones on which he was arraigned at the Court of Tax Appeals in Quezon City on Wednesday. He also did not enter any plea on Wednesday it was also the court that entered a “not guilty” plea for him.
