Missing tourist found dead near Zambales island

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Two days after he vanished while swimming in Cabangan town in this province, 18-year-old Reylie Torre Cellar was found dead on Wednesday, June 14, near San Salvador Island in Masinloc town, some 51 kilometers from where he drowned.

A fisherman found Cellar’s body floating in the water around the island at 6 p.m., said Champ del Rosario, the head of the Cabangan municipal disaster risk reduction and management office.

Del Rosario told the Inquirer that the fisherman brought the body to the shore before alerting authorities.

Cellar’s family confirmed that it was his body.
