One Cebu or LP for Quisumbing?
CEBU 6th district Rep. Luigi Quisumbing has people guessing on his next political move.
After meeting with Cebu. Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia, Rep. Pablo John Garcia of Cebu 3rd district said that Quisumbing is definitely staying with One Cebu.
Mandaue City Vice Mayor Glen Bercede, however, is saying that Quisumbing is jumping over to LP.
Quisumbing, in a separate interview, did not confirm nor deny reports of discussion that may lead to his transfer to the LP, the party of President Bengino Aquino III.
“From the very start, we are very supportive of the President. At this point, we support the President’s vision for reform agenda,” Quisumbing said.
Meanwhile, Rep. Garcia added that things are shaping up for One Cebu especially in their bet for governor.
“We will be making announcement too. Probably during the State of the Province Address. We will try to come up with a stronger candidate,” Representative Garcia said.
Asked if he would still be running for another term in the 3rd district, he said that it would depend on his party. Carmel Loise Matus, Correspondent
