Elderly pedestrian killed in Lucena City road mishap
LUCENA CITY–A 67-year-old woman died on Thursday, May 25, after being struck by a cargo truck.
According to a report from the Lucena City police, the victim, identified as Adila Esguera, was crossing the road in Barangay Ibabang Dupay at 8:15 a.m. when she was accidentally hit by a passing truck driven by 36-year-old Ryan Siatriz.

The victim died on the way to the hospital after sustaining severe body injuries.
