Marcos appoints Enrile’s daughter as Cagayan Economic Zone Authority chief
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has appointed businesswoman Katrina Gloria Ponce Enrile as the new administrator and chief executive officer of the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA).
Enrile is the daughter of Presidential Legal Counsel and former Senate president Juan Ponce Enrile.
The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) announced Enrile’s appointment on Wednesday, saying her post carries a Cabinet rank and she will represent the national government in CEZA’s board of directors.
In a Facebook post, Enrile expressed gratitude to the President for his “trust.”
