Fire destroys spa in Pasay City
MANILA, Philippines—Around P1 million worth of property was destroyed when a fire, which raged for 40 minutes, razed a spa in Pasay City on Saturday night, according to the city fire department.
The blaze started at the ceiling of the Sinai Spa located on Gil Puyat Street in Barangay 49. The flames quickly spread and gutted the establishment.
Fortunately, no one was hurt in the fire, which reached the second alarm before it was put out at 10:47 p.m.
Arson investigators were still determining what caused the fire.—Miko Morelos
