MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has tallied almost 92 million registered voters for the 2023 barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections.

The exact figure is 91,912,429 registered voters recorded in  201,799 clustered precincts and 37,524 voting centers, the Comelec said in a statement on Wednesday.

Of this number, 68,468,339 voters were registered for the barangay elections and 23,444,090 voters were registered for the Sangguniang Kabataan elections.

Comelec conducted its voter registration from Dec. 12, 2022, to Jan. 31, 2023 — recording a total of 1,476,551 newly registered voters.
