4-vehicle crash hurts 14 at NLEX
Manila, Philippines— At least 14 people were hurt in a four-vehicle accident along the rain-drenched North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Friday morning, said Ariel Salita, a supervising officer of the NLEX supervisor.
A 14 wheeler dump truck, a 6 wheeler truck, a public utility jeepney and a private car crashed against each other at the San Simon exit of the NLEX at around 7 a.m., ostensibly caused by poor visibility and slippery roads due to heavy rains brought about by typhoon Falcon, said Salita.
The area was cleared after 10 minutes, he reported.
The victims were immediately rushed to nearby Jose B. Lingad (JBL) Hospital San Fernando Pampanga.
