Suspected drug pusher nabbed in Quezon province bust

Quezon police operatives arrested four alleged drug pushers and seized more than P271,000 worth of shabu during separate anti-illegal drug operations on February 18.

LUCENA CITY – Anti-illegal drug operatives arrested early Thursday, April 20, an identified pusher on a police watchlist in Tiaong town in Quezon province.

Members of the Tiaong police drug enforcement unit collared Ernesto Manongsong, 55, during a buy-bust operation at 4 a.m. in Barangay Quipot.

Authorities seized 10 plastic sachets of meth with a street value of P16,320.

The local police classified the suspect as a street-level individual on its drug watchlist.

The suspect was detained and is facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
