Man gunned down in Mandaue

A 32-YEAR-OLD man was shot dead by two unidentified men in barangay Canjulao, Lapu-Lapu City.

Carlos Romeo died on the spot due to multiple gunshot wounds in the body.

Police said that according to the victim’s brother, Romeo had been giving information to the police  about the identities of persons involved in the illegal drug trade in the barangay.

PO2 Luisito Ernie, homicide investigator, said the  brother revealed that he heard reports that  Carlos would  be killed before the end of April if he wouldn’t leave the barangay.

Carlos was sitting in front of a store past 1 p.m. yesterday when two men  arrived on a motorcycle arrived. They approached the victim and opened fire.
