Bongbong Marcos says he had a ‘very good, very quiet’ Holy Week
MANILA, Philippines — “Very good and very quiet.”
This was how President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Monday described how he spent the Holy Week.
He said he went into a retreat, which he said was a routine for him, and “fasted” starting on Good Friday.
“Very good! Very quiet. I did my usual routine, where I went into retreat. For the weekend, starting on Friday, I fasted,” he said in a chance interview in Bataan when asked how he spent the Holy Week break.
“It was a good time to take a breath, take a step back, take long walks, and think very hard about what it is that we have to do,” Marcos added.
