2 motorcycle riders dead, 3 injured in Camarines Sur road mishaps

Motorcyclist dead in hit-and-run in Cavite

LEGAZPI CITY — Two motorcycle riders died while three others were injured in separate road accidents on Saturday and Sunday in Camarines Sur.

In Pasacao town, Christian Ador, 25, was riding his motorcycle when he collided with another motorcycle driven by Rico Tolentino, 24, with back rider, Albert Javier, 29, in Barangay (village) Caranan at around 7 p.m., Colonel Julius Caesar Domingo, Camarines Sur police chief, said in a report.

Initial investigation showed that Tolentino drove on the opposite lane and collided with Ador.

In Buhi town, Raymund Moraña, 30, a resident of Pasig City, died after his motorcycle collided with a car in Barangay Sta. Justina at around 2:50 p.m.

Domingo said that based on initial investigation, the motorcycle driven by the victim also occupied the opposite lne and crashed into the car driven by Lea Dela Justa-Rezano, 34, a resident of Minalabac town.

Moraña did not make it to hospital nalive while his back rider was injured.

Further investigations are ongoing, police said.
