2 farmers killed in separate Camarines Sur shooting incidents
LEGAZPI CITY — Two farmers were killed in separate shooting incidents on Good Friday, April 7, in Camarines Sur province.
In Bula town, Mario Orosco, 56, was shot around 8 p.m. in Barangay Palsong.
Colonel Julius Caesar Domingo, Camarines Sur police chief, said in a report that while the victim was feeding his pigs at their backyard, his son heard three successive shots. He later saw his father lying on the ground with gunshot wounds on his chest.
In Caramoan town, Jerry Naa, 23, was also killed in a separate shooting incident around 7 a.m. in Barangay Bacgong.
Domingo said Naa was found with a gunshot wound on his body. Recovered in the area was a cartridge case of a caliber 5.56 mm.
