LUCENA CITY — Two drug suspects yielded more than P230,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in separate anti-narcotics operations on Sunday, April 2, in Quezon province.

In a report on Monday, Quezon police chief Colonel Ledon Monte said members of the police drug enforcement unit in Sariaya town collared Janil Aguilar, 44, after he sold at 5:40 p.m. P1,000 worth of meth to an undercover police officer acting as a drug user in Barangay Mamala 2.

Seized from the suspect, an identified drug pusher in the locality, were nine sachets of shabu with a street value of P123,420.

In Mauban town, police operatives armed with a search warrant swooped down at 7:10 p.m. on the house of Dwight Arvin Velasco, 27, in Barangay Lual Poblacion.
