MMDA: DPWH to carry out road repairs from March 31 to April 3, traffic jams likely

The MMDA warns motorists of possible gridlocks along primary avenues in the capital region this weekend.

MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Friday warned motorists of possible gridlocks along primary avenues in the capital region this weekend.

This is because the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is scheduled to conduct road repairs from March 31 to April 3 along certain sections of Edsa, C-5 Road, A. Bonfacio Avenue, and Commonwealth Avenue.

The MMDA said motorists should plan ahead and take alternative routes as the DPWH will carry out road reblocking in these areas:
