MANILA, Philippines — Motorists who will be affected by the road reblocking operations in three different roads inside the National Capital Region have been urged to take alternate routes, in anticipation of heavy traffic flow.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said in its social media posts on Friday night that three particular segments would be repaired by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) from 11:00 p.m. of Friday up to 5:00 a.m. of Monday:

MMDA suggested that southbound motorists who would be affected by the roadworks in Pasig City can make a left turn to Lakewood Drive then straight to E. Mejia Street, before returning to C-5. Northbound vehicles meanwhile can take the U-turn slot under the Bagong Ilog Flyover.

Those who might need to access the NLEx northbound side and are coming from Quezon Avenue can opt to use Sgt. Rivera Street in Quezon City before making a right turn at A. Bonifacio Avenue, which leads to the Balintawak Toll Plaza.
