P2B ‘shabu’ seized from Chinese suspect in Baguio

BAGUIO CITY — Police in this city arrested a Chinese national who allegedly yielded 500 teabags containing “shabu” (crystal meth) after a raid early Tuesday, March 28, in his house in Barangay Irisan.

Investigators identified the suspect as Hui Ming, alias “Tan,” who was caught during the anti-narcotics operation led by the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit of the Cordillera police with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

The operation was carried out on the strength of a search warrant issued by a local court, according to Cordillera police director Brigadier General David Peredo.
