More than P1 million ‘shabu’ seized from 2 suspects in Bataan

Two drug suspects were arrested in separate anti-narcotics operations in Bataan after yielding more than P1 million worth of "shabu."

MARIVELES, Bataan — Two drug suspects were arrested early Tuesday in separate anti-narcotics operations in this province after yielding more than P1 million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth), police said.

Arrested were Celso Soriano Rubiano, 52, of Abucay town, and Rommel Limboc, 40, of Mariveles town.

Police said Rubiano was apprehended at a police checkpoint and was allegedly caught with shabu in plastic sachets worth P50,000.

Limboc, on the other hand, was captured in a buy-bust operation after he was reportedly found in possession of 150 grams of shabu worth P1,020,000. INQ
