SC sets date for oathtaking, Roll signing for 2022 Bar passers

The Supreme Court grants the request of the Department of Justice to transfer cases related to the killing of Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo to a Manila court.

MANILA, Philippines — Oathtaking and the roll signing of 2022 Bar passers will be on May 2, 2023, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), the Supreme Court has announced Thursday.

The SC said the notices are posted “ahead of the release of the results of the 2022 Bar Examinations to give the prospective successful examinees ample time to undertake the necessary preparations for the Oath Taking and the Roll Signing.”

A total of 9,821 took the 2022 Bar examination conducted at 14 testing centers all around the country, while 9,183 completed the four-day examination that ended November 20, 2023.

The SC has yet to release the result of the exam.
