Over P230,000 shabu seized from 6 suspects in Bicol buy-busts
LEGAZPI CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives arrested six suspected drug personalities and recovered more than P230,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations on Wednesday, reports said Thursday, March 16 in Bicol.
In Camarines Sur, Andro Sinfuego, 29; Paul John Bonyad, 19; Ronald Panambo, 33; and Rocele Sinfuego, 36, were arrested in an alleged drug den in Barangay (village) San Francisco in Baao town at around 11:45 p.m.
Colonel Julius Caesar Domingo, Camarines Sur police chief, said during the operation, they recovered five sachets or 30 grams of shabu worth P204,000 and P500 buy-bust money.
In Albay, Rances Daniel Bigay, 22, was arrested in Barangay Inamnan Grande in Guinobatan town at around 3:30 p.m.
Lieutenant Kharren Formales, Albay police spokesperson, said in a report that the suspect was a former a drug surrenderee.

Article continues after this advertisementIn Manito town, Enrique Torralba, 40, was also arrested in a separate operation in Barangay Buyo at around 11:15 a.m.
Formales said seven sachets or 3.5 grams of shabu worth P23,800 were recovered from the suspect.
The suspects face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
