P394,000 worth of shabu, marijuana seized in Laguna and Cavite buy-busts

LUCENA CITY – Anti-illegal drugs operatives arrested six alleged traffickers and seized over P394,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) and marijuana in buy-bust operations in Laguna and Cavite provinces on Tuesday and Wednesday (March 14 and 15).
Police in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) reported that operatives in Biñan City, Laguna nabbed Enrico Mirondo and Robert Ramirez after they allegedly sold P30,000 worth of shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay (village) Malaban around 3:55 a.m. Wednesday.
Authorities seized nine plastic sachets of meth with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P238,000.
In Calamba City also in Laguna, members of the police drug enforcement unit busted John Carlo Sangel in a sting operation in Barangay 2 around 3:13 p.m. on Tuesday.
The suspect yielded two sachets of marijuana with a DDB value of P39,600.
In Dasmariñas City, Cavite, cops nabbed Dan John Mark Serrano and Jeremy Tadena in Barangay Sampaloc 4 around 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Seized from the suspects were three sachets of shabu worth P48,300 as per DDB valuation.
Later, the same police team also arrested Zacharia Omadan in Barangay Datu Esmael at 9:00 p.m.
The suspect was found in possession of two sachets of shabu with a DDB value of P69,000.
All arrested suspects were tagged as street-level drug pushers in their respective localities.
They were detained and will be charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
