In a statement on Tuesday, the Office of the Vice President (OVP) said Duterte joined the Department of Welfare and Social Development in distributing cash aid and relief goods to oil spill victims in Caluya town through Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation and the Relief for Individuals in Crisis and Emergencies.

The coastal town is currently under a state of calamity after a massive oil spill from the sunken Motor Tanker Princess Empress reached the municipality’s waters, affecting livelihood and fishing activities.
