TESDA warns public vs scam Facebook page offering technical-vocational training and programs

MANILA, Philippines — The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) on Thursday warned the public against a Facebook page offering technical-vocational training and programs.

It said that a certain Facebook page named “Certified Learning & Skills-Tesda Manpower” is not connected with the agency.

“Nakarating sa aming tanggapan ang reklamo ng isang indibidwal na ang Facebook page na Certified Learning & Skills-Tesda Manpower ay nag aalok ng training at assessment at tumatanggap ng bayad. Ngunit nagbibigay ng mali-maling impormasyon at hindi maaayos na nakikipag-usap,” Tesda said in a public advisory.

The agency further advised the public to only transact with Tesda-accredited centers and offices.
