2 women dead after fire razes house in Nueva Ecija town

TALAVERA, Nueva Ecija — Two women residing in Barangay Marcos in this town died late Tuesday, March 7, after a fire gutted their house.
In a report, fire investigators identified the fatalities as Donata Wy, 82, the house owner, and her companion, Elizabeth Echalas, 58.
The blaze around 8 p.m. razed the victims’ house made of lightweight materials.
An investigation was still underway to determine what caused the fire. INQ
