Worker yields P3.4M shabu in sting operation in Cavite
LUCENA CITY — Authorities caught on Tuesday, March 7, a construction worker who allegedly yielded shabu worth P3.4 million in Bacoor City, Cavite.
In a report Wednesday, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Region 4A said its agents and local police caught Abobakar Balaiman, 43, a resident of Bacoor, in an “entrapment” operation at 3:40 p.m. in Barangay Molino 3.
Balaiman, classified as a “high-value” drug trafficker, yielded 500 grams of meth worth P3,450,000 when arrested.
Authorities were conducting further investigations to determine the source of the illegal drugs.
Balaima was detained and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
