The DSWD said in a statement that the woman, identified only as “Bibe,” arrived in their Pag-abot Processing Center in Pasay City on Thursday morning after the team was able to find and interview her.
“At the processing center, she will undergo a thorough assessment and appropriate intervention by the DSWD, based on her situation and needs,” the DSWD said.
“This is based on the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to the DSWD to provide comprehensive intervention to the woman so that she does not return to the streets,” it added.
