The rest of the country may have a fair weather condition save for light rains, especially since no low pressure area has been detected inside the Philippine area of responsibility.

Due to the amihan’s effect, temperatures over the eastern side of Luzon may be lower on Saturday, ranging from 21 to 29 degrees Celsius over Tuguegarao and 24 to 29 degrees in Legazpi City.  Baguio would have something around 13 to 23 degrees; Laoag and Metro Manila would be warmer at 22 to 31 degrees; Tagaytay with 19 to 29 degrees; and Puerto Princesa with 25 to 30 degrees.

Over Visayas and Mindanao, Cebu and Cagayan de Oro are expected to have temperatures of 24 to 29 degrees Celsius; Iloilo with 25 to 29 degrees; Tacloban with 23 to 30 degrees; Davao with 24 to 32 degrees; and Zamboanga with 25 to 32 degrees.

A gale warning is raised over several of the country’s seaboards due to the amihan.  Pagasa advised fisherfolk and small boat operators to avoid sailing over waters off Zambales, Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley including Batanes and the Babuyan Islands up to the entire eastern coast of Luzon.

The similar advisory is raised over the waters surrounding Mimaropa, Bicol Region, and seaboards north and east of Eastern Visayas.

Sea condition in these areas are expected to be rough to very rough, with wave heights ranging from 2.8 meters to 4.5 meters.
