Motorcyclist dead in hit-and-run in Quezon

LUCENA CITY – A motorcycle rider died in a hit-and-run incident along the Maharlika Highway in Tiaong town in Quezon province on Saturday night (Feb. 25).

Quezon police report said the still unidentified victim with a black crash helmet, wearing denim pants and black jacket aboard a Kawasaki Barako motorcycle was hit by a still unknown vehicle in one section of the highway in Barangay (village) Lalig at around 6:40 p.m.

The rider suffered grave injuries and died on the spot.

The driver sped off after the incident.

The police are conducting investigations to identify the victim and the culprit’s vehicle.
