The four suspects were arrested in their village in Payao with the help of some residents, said Lt. Col. Edwin Oloan Jr., the city police chief.

The crime happened on November 27, 2022, near an elementary school in Payao.

Prior to the incident, the 14-year-old girl was invited by her friend for a drinking spree. However, she was brought to a beach where the four suspects were waiting.

The girl, who was already under the influence of liquor, was then dragged by the four suspects near a school where she was repeatedly raped. Macmac allegedly took photos of the crime while the victim was being sexually abused and later uploaded it.

The suspects are now detained at the lock-up facility of the Catbalogan City police while the 14-year old girl was placed under the care of the city social welfare and development office.
