Fireman, two others hurt in Muntinlupa City fire

MANILA, Philippines — A fire in Barangay Sucat in Muntinlupa City on Friday left three people, including a firefighter, injured, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said in its report.
Senior Fire Officer Heherson Astrande, 35, suffered an eye injury while the two others, both barangay residents, sustained burns, according to the BFP.
Authorities said the blaze reached the third alarm at 1:09 p.m. It was declared under control at around 2:00 p.m.
The Public Information Office of Muntinlupa City said the fire has already been extinguished.
The BFP said the fire affected 150 families. It estimated the damage at P300,000.
