P272,000 shabu, gun seized in Masbate buy-bust

LEGAZPI CITY — A police anti-illegal drugs team on Monday arrested a 39-year-old drug personality, and recovered shabu worth P272,000 and a firearm in a buy-bust operation in Uson town in Masbate.

Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said in a report that Joselito Moran was arrested at 10:19 p.m. in Barangay Buenasuerte.

Authorities recovered 40 grams of shabu, a .9mm pistol with 24 rounds of ammunition, a magazine, and other non-drug items.

The suspect was placed under the custody of the police for proper disposition.
