MANILA Philippines —The Police Regional Office (PRO) in Calabarzon topped the 2022 Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
According to PNP chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr., the PRO Calabarzon topped the evaluation, recording a score of 97.1 percent for November, 98.21 percent for December, and 94.86 percent for March, besting 16 other police regional offices.
PRO Cordillera, meanwhile, bagged the highest ratings for June with a rating of 97.05 percent, July 96.53 percent, April 95.69 percent, and closing in on May with a percentile of 95.59 percent.
On the other hand, PRO Bicol had the highest ratings in October, with 96.42 percent, 96.35 percent for August, 95.68 percent in January, and 95 percent for February.
Meanwhile, PRO Mimaropa recorded the highest spot in July with 96.53 percent and in September with 96.50 percent.
PNP explained that UPER is a monthly standardized evaluation tool that assesses the performance of different PNP offices nationwide.
The monthly evaluation includes metrics that assess the implementation of discipline; conduct of the hiring and selection process; maintenance of employee morale and welfare; human resource actions on placement and promotion; personnel and records management; and personnel plans and policies of police departments.
