MANILA, Philippines — A man allegedly involved in an attempted murder case has been arrested during a manhunt operation in Bato, Camarines Sur.
On Friday, the Bato town police identified the suspect as “Son,” 38, and a resident of Brgy. San Miguel, Bato, Camarines Sur.
He was nabbed at 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, following the issuance of a warrant of arrest against a certain “Son” by Iriga City Regional Trial Court Branch 59 on February 3 for attempted murder.
According to the Philippine National Police, the suspect’s bail was set at P120,000.
“Son” is now detained at the Bato Municipal Police Station pending the issuance of a commitment order from the court, authorities said. – Meralyn Melitante, Inquirer.net
