P6.8 million worth of shabu seized in Camarines Sur
LEGAZPI CITY — Authorities arrested a suspected drug personality and recovered P6.8 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) at a buy-bust in Pili town in Camarines Sur province on Friday, Jan. 20.
Police Colonel Julius Caesar Domingo, Camarines Sur police chief, said in a report Saturday, Jan. 21, that Ryian Magdalita, 35, a resident of Sampaloc, Manila, was arrested in Barangay (village) San Agustin at around 7:50 p.m.
Magdalita sold a knot-tied sachet containing 50 grams of shabu worth P150,000 to an undercover agent.
During the body search, authorities recovered four more knot-tied sachets that had 950 grams of shabu.
The suspect is now under the custody of the police and will be charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
